- My name is Susan Meyer, and I am the owner of a bricks and mortar fabric store called Susie Q Quitling is Eureka, Missouri. Eureka is also home to Six Flags over Mid America. The store is located in old town Eureka, just 2 miles from Interstate 44 and Missouri HWy 109. My passion is sewing many different things, but for now it is quilting to help support my store. I am not the most attentive blogger because I feel wierd just writing things for other people to read. I love to talk, but dislike writing because I was criticized so much by my family and teachers. I am ADHD, and am not very good at grammar, and horrible at spelling, so I always feel like people are judging me on the mechanics of writing, instead of content. My life is all about creating with color. Therefore, I dislike typing because it lacks color. Well that is enough about me. As far as sewing and quilting, if I did not have to make a living from my store, I would love to make vividly colored, intricate quilts and clothing. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I am pretty knowledgable about most things to do with textiles, and creating with them.
